Living in a democracy certainly means you have to accept strange things to happen. The western world is at war against terrorism, but Norway protects a terrorist. Is this really true?
There are many reasons to protect individuals. And in most cases, there are reasonable doubts. But when one individual takes the system and turns it against itself - not only using it, but abusing it in all publicity, something must be wrong. When a known terrorist can live and stay in Norway, when all reasonable doubt has been taken away from the case, it is due time to take action.
A case that should be easy and simple - kick his but out of the country - turns into a farce of pork meat (pun intended), and the terrorist and his lawyers use any and all means to stay, while on the other hand the "victim" is praising the killing of soldiers - there must be something wrong in the world we are living in.
I would like to see action. I would like to see an end to this stupidity. Kick the but of the "victim" back to the desert, and let him stand trial in Iraq. Who cares if they decide that death penalty is the only solution? The world is very likely to become a better place if they do.
Unless of course the good Mullah Krekar is not really a terrorist - but an inside source of information to the western forces? What if this Mullah really is a spy for the westerns? Putting up a great show in the media just to keep his sources in the dark? To avoid getting suspected by his peers.
But this is probably nothing but a far out idea, right?
You will find a very well background on the Mullah Krekar and his actions in this great article.
